How I get paid
Some of the technology providers I compare pay me for advising the businesses I work with. That doesn't decide what I recommend: I compare more than one option and tell you when one I don't work with fits better.
Who pays me
I’m an independent technology advisor. Some of the providers I compare pay me for advising the businesses I work with and introducing them.
What it means for you
- I compare at least two options for every request, and I explain why each one fits or doesn’t.
- When an option I don’t work with is the better fit, I tell you and include it in the comparison.
- Each provider sets its own prices and contract terms.
Links on this site
Links to provider websites are regular links unless I mark them otherwise. If a provider pays me for a specific link, I say so next to it.
Why this page exists
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission asks anyone who recommends products and is paid by the companies behind them to say so clearly. You’ll also see a short version of this note in the footer and near the top of the pages where I compare providers.
